Born and raised in Queens, NY, his earliest recollection of DJing was with Joseph Simmons aka Rev Run while attending St. Pascals Baylon School. From there on it was a thrill ride as a Hip Hop DJ playing in NCO Clubs while in the military, performing in Germany, CO and Oklahoma, DJing with Mr. Magic aka Doug Mixer, Jodi B. Rubin, Curtis Hotmix Heath and Lady V at the NCO Club and for Magic 95 FM under the name DJ iLL BiLL. With 40 plus years under his belt, DJ Bilal Hayles remains a constant and positive entity on the turntables. Simply put, this is a way of life for him and sharing the gift of universal love via music, he considers a blessing.
